How to use

  1. Allow your device to install shortcuts. If you have never downloaded shortcuts from the internet before, first run any shortcut you have in the Shortcuts app, then go to Settings > Shortcuts and turn on Allow Untrusted Shortcuts.
  2. Install the shortcut. Click the download button above, which imports the shortcut into the Shortcuts app. Scroll to the bottom of the Add Shortcut pane and click Add Untrusted Shortcut
  3. Get fonts. You can download fonts from the internet or transfer them onto your device from another computer. The font files need to be accessible from your device (i.e. you need to be able to get them from the Files app)
  4. Import the font files. Run the Font Installer Shortcut. A file icker opens, where you need to select the font files. You can select one or multiple .ttf or .otf files, or a .zip file with the font files inside.
  5. Set up and get the configuration profile. You will be asked to name the profile, which contains the fonts you want to install. The name will help you identify the profile. After naming the profile, Safari will open asking you whether you want to download a configuration profile. Click Allow.
  6. Install the profile. Open Settings, and you should see a Profile Downloaded button at the top . (If you don't, go to General > Profiles > Your Profile Name.) A Install Profile pane should appear. Click Install, enter your passcode, and click Install again. It is okay that the profile is not signed. Confirm the install and your fonts are now installed.
  7. To delete the fonts installed, go to General > Profiles > Your Profile Name and select Remove Profile.
